Newsletter information
The Seattle Coin Club (formerly Numismatic Society) newsletter, SN€W$, is published monthly by editor Ray Fiorini, and is then emailed to all active SCC members. Members receive the newsletter electronically in Adobe PDF format. Please contact us for more information.
The newsletter often features interesting articles about numismatics in addition to news about the club and its upcoming meetings.
From Feb. 2018 to June 2019, the newsletter was temporarily replaced by the club president’s message only.These messages have been assembled into a convenient PDF file. Otherwise, the monthly president’s message is included in the newsletter, usually on the first page.
Club members can open the following newsletters using a password available at club meetings. (Adobe Reader or PDF-compatible browser required.)

Can I submit news items?
Yes! If you have any club news to publish, especially if you’re a member or have attended a club meeting, Please contact us or contact the editor directly if you have his contact information. You can also submit educational articles for publication subject to the following guidelines:
- All material submitted is subject to editing and acceptance – there is no guarantee that content submitted will be published. Consult with the editor or webmaster in advance.
- Keep it short and easily understandable – not long and complicated.
- Use standard formats such as text or MS Word, and JPG/PNG for photos/graphics.
- Please respect copyrights and trademarks and obtain permission for any copying or republishing. It’s not enough simply to credit the source.
- You must give SCC a non-exclusive royalty-free license to publish your article.
- No advertising unless approved by the SCC board of directors.
